As per available information on this, the Smart Connector is a server/middleware for PMS-BMS integration. Would this mean that it works exclusively with our BMS? Or is it possible to be used when integrating third-party PMS and third-party BMS?

I think only your imagination and knowledge sets the limit of what it's capable off.
Theoretically you can integrate anything using Smart Connector aa long as you have the right tools for it.
But if I understand you correctly, it is used to connect EBO to other systems & services.

Yangbo,
If you are talking about integrating 3rd parties with EBO anything that can be accomplished via EWS and if you wanna go more advanced CSP (EBO's proprietary protocol) can be done with Smart Connector. So there really is no recommended types of points as long as data you are getting from 3rd party systems can be modeled as an EWS point (datetime, string, double, integer, long, etc..) In my experiance I have not run into any system's data that could not be modeled this way.

Jeff:
Thank you very much for comments, I am sorry for my expression . I want to know what the limitation of number of points we can share with 3rd party ,in other word, how many points we can share to 3rd party via one smart connector, we have a site need to share 20000+ points to 3rd party, how many smart connector we should purchase?
Thanks and Best Regards

Hi Jeff
Thanks for response, what about the performance when share more than 20000 points with 1 smart connector? Any experience or experimental data to support this application?
