If I Start processor it calls Validate internally, and it fails to start because validation failed.
I need to successfully Start the processor, but I also need to print a message to the user during validation because the user needs to know the path to failing devices.
If we got only 3 failing devices out of 500 then it does not make sense to stop the processor, but it is very useful to print a message to inform the user of the path to the failing ones.

Hi Joseph, welcome to the forum!
So from what I gather what you are talking about is during the configuration of the processor.
Today there is only yes or no validation, that is if you've configured 497 valid instances of something in your processor and 3 invalid, the whole processor validation will fail and you can't start the processor. You can then choose to remove these instances or configure them correctly.
I can't see the use case here, would you leave the invalid configurations in as placeholders?
