Hi,
We have costumer that utilizing SmartConnector RESTfull EWS Gateway to get data from EBO and they asked can they change Throttling Policy default rates at 100 request/minute to 1200 request/minute? Are there any ideal or maximum rates for this?

Hi Bayu,
The throttle policy can vary depending on both system capability and application use.
If you have a powerful machine, the throttle level can be high, if the machine is not powerful you will have a low limit.
You have to adjust this based on the CPU/RAM usage of the machine.
If you notice the machine is overloaded and response time is high, reduce the throttle limit.
If the machine is working fine and need a higher capacity, increase the throttle limit.
I'm not sure there is any guideline / directive for this it will depend on both the request done and the machine capabilities.
