How to exchange data from SBO to Client RestFul through EWS Gateway
Hi everyone,
I want to create a worker that exchange some values from an AS to a Client RestFul (for example Postman) through RESTful EWS Gateway.
Could I kindly have a simple example to create this worker?
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Michelle,
If you haven't already, please review the SmartConnector RESTful EWS Gateway.pdf documentation.
- Section 5.2 Provisioning and Configuring Endpoints covers how to configure your endpoint in SmartConnector. You will be using the SoapEwsRestProvider for an SBO AS.
- Section 6 covers the built in Swagger interface. From this you can experiment with commands on retrieving and manipulating data. Each section also gives you the CURL command info which would be useful in using other tools.
Also, check out Austen's post on this forum here: Sample to use RESTful gateway by using http client tools
If you have more specific questions, please feel free to post them here.

Michele,
Go to the Status page and click the Active Endpoints tab. Do you see your endpoint listed? If not, open the Endpoint Configuration Detail page for that endpoint. Click the Validate button? Where there are issues listed? If not, click the Start button. Go back to the Status Page/Endpoints tab. Is your endpoint listed now? If not, go to the Setup-Logging Filters page and confirm Rest and EwsClient are included. Change if not. Go to the Setup-Service Settings page and confirm Logging Level is "Debug". Change if not. Then retry the above steps and send the log file.

Hi Michelle,
This may be a dumb question, but have you logged into your AS yet to change it from the default password or has your AS password expired?
Also, what version of SBO is your AS?

-Jeff

There is an error message in there that says there is nothing listening on the address you configured. You need to confirm what you configured. Also, if not using the standard port, you must include that as well. e.g. http://localhost:8080/EcoStruxure/DataExchange.
