How to Alarm an Extension's Update Processor Running Status

We are looking for a method (or technique) to trigger an EBO alarm when an extension's Update Processor is not running.

Hi,

I have not tried to do so myself, but given that you have an Smartconnector EWS server exposed and your updateprocessor runs on a schedule, you could expose a "LastUpdated" value that gets updated by the UpdateProcessor, and then have a EBO Script program that parses the DateTime and triggers an alarm if a time threshold between updates is passed?
