How to Activate SQL Microsoft Reader Extension License in Smart Connector 2.5
Hello Community,
I need your support with the activation of the SQL Microsoft Reader Extension for SmartConnector 2.5.
My Case
I already purchased both licenses:
Runtime License – PN: SXWSWSCDL100001
SQL Microsoft Reader Extension – PN: SXWSWSCEXT0090
The runtime license was successfully activated:
I accessed smartconnectorserver.com, selected SmartConnector 2.5 runtime, added my order details, downloaded the .lic file, and applied it using mongoose.exe.
This worked fine — I can see the runtime license active.
The SQL Extension license is the issue:
I cannot find any option on smartconnectorserver.com to generate the .lic file for the extension.
If I add the extension license manually through the License Administrator, it appears in the list, but it does not show in the SmartConnector web interface (localhost:8082).
I searched EcoXpert and Community resources but could not find any documentation that explains the steps for extension licenses.
My Questions
How can I correctly add the SQL Microsoft Reader Extension entitlement (PN: SXWSWSCEXT0090) to SmartConnector 2.5?
Is there an official guide or documentation that explains how to generate or apply the .lic file for SmartConnector extensions?
Does the SQL extension activation follow a different process from the runtime license activation (since licensing is unified with EBO in SmartConnector 2.5)?
