HTTP could not register URL http://+:57621/DataExchange/ because TCP port 57621 is being used by another application

Hi,

SmartConnector crashes and the following error is displayed. Any idea how to fix it without reinstalling SmartConnector?

Hi Michael,

It does, there's a checkbox for "Add sample data" in the installer. You can use another port, or if it bothers you, delete it.

Hi Michael,

Like the error message says, 57621 is already used by something on your system. If you haven't restarted your computer after reinstalling, try that, or use available tools to find out what is using the port.

Hi Armend,

Thank you for your answer. This port is used by the Weather EWS Server sample that is installed by default.

It would be nice if the SmartConnector will have an option to install or not install this sample EWS server.

Regards,

Mike
