I just finished setting up an EcoStruxure Web Service with the Custom EWS from SmartConnector Tutorial, and I chose to 'Host EWS Objects'.
They were initially showing correct values and EWS State 'Good', but after 10 seconds (the polling interval I specified),
they all changed to EWS State 'Error', and lost their values.
The values are still appear correct when I look under Hardware, but they are in Error when I look under the EcoStruxure Web Service Interface.

The problem here is due an interoperability issue which exists between SBO 1.7 and SmartConnector 2.1 (and higher) when SmartConnector is the EWS Server and SBO is the EWS client. The issue is in how SBO handled consuming Subscriptions served by another EWS Server.
