Hi All, I have deployed a SmartConnector in a virtual environment using the Microsoft SQL Database Reader extension, to query an SQL DB and pass the results to Enterprise Central using EWS. While results from the query get updated in EC without any problem, what I have found is that if the VM on which the SmartConnector resides is rebooted, the values in EC go offline and stay offline indefinitely, even after the VM and SmartConnector services have started up. The only way to get the values to update in EC again is to go into System->Hardware->EcoStruxure Web Services and refresh the EwsHardwareInterface.
Is there any way to force the EwsHardwareInterface to refresh automatically after “x” number of seconds?
This is an overview of the architecture.

Hi Farhang,
This is very strange! Typically when the EWS server comes back online, EBO will pick it back up. Are you able to take a look at Error Handling/ Offline Configuration of your EWS Interface? Does everything look ok there?
Best Regards,
-Jeff
