Hi,
I am considering purchasing Drayton Wiser but after reding the TRV operating manual I am concerned that if I use it to manually boost I will only get +2 on the currently set temperature.
Does that mean that if the valve is "off", say set to 5 degrees, it will only turn it up to 7 degrees?
The behaviour I would like to see is that when boosting from "off" it turns it "on" to a preset temperature (e.g. 20 degrees).
Does it do this? If not have you found this an annoyance?

The boost is only 2 degrees and as far as I am aware can't be adjusted. To be honest I don't recall ever having used the boost via turning the TRV,
But I use schedules via the app and all rooms have a setpoint no lower than 16 degrees. I believe the boost is 2 degrees above what it thinks the room temp is and not what the TRV set temp is.
In the 8 months I've had the system installed it's never been a problem for me. (15 TRV's 2 rooms stats and 3 extenders)
