Smart Plug "ad-hoc" mode

With my Wiser Hub, I can turn on a heating "zone" for say 1 hour. I would like to be able to do the same for a Smart Plug i.e. Turn a light on for 2 hours if I go out. However, it does not seem possible without configuring Schedules. Have I missed something ??

You can't do it in the Wiser app but if you have Alexa or similar you could do it there. I've just asked Alexa to turn one of my extenders on for 5 mins and it worked fine.
