I live in a well insulated house, as such my radiators don't get that hot and the boiler run time to maintain temperature is very short.
The wiser app has no settings for CPH (cycles per hour) or min run time, as such sometimes (many times) the boiler will cycle on for just a minute or so. It does this frequently and while maintaining perfect temperature it often seems like a massive waste. The radiators are at 25 degrees if that. The boiler could easily have not bothered at all for a hour.
I know when there is greater demand that cycling more can reduce return flow temperatures and thus efficiency but there should be a limit. A min burn time (IE if the demand is for a burn less than 3 minutes don't bother) and the option to reduce cycles per hour to something more reasonable like 3 per hour.
I have noticed that setting the heat input type from gas to oil achieves this but it would be great to have better control.
Out of interest what are the CPH (and min burn time if any) for gas and oil?

You may have already explored the data returned by the API, but just in case you haven't, these are the CPH settings for each type of heating :-
"FuelType": "Oil",
"CycleRate": "CPH_3",
"FuelType": "Gas",
"CycleRate": "CPH_6",
"FuelType": "Electric",
"CycleRate": "CPH_12",
"FuelType": "HeatPump",
"CycleRate": "CPH_3",
I'd been wondering what "CPH" meant!

Thank you that's good to know.
Yes, CPH is cycles per hour (not 'cycles per hot' (Just corrected my typo in my original message)

I agree about the need to be able to set the minimum on time. I'm seeing very short on times with it controlling my ASHP system, just as everything fires up Wiser then pulls the plug and turns everything off.
