I Have a hub and 10 TRVs.
Randomly we find that the boiler and pump are running but the app says that there is no call for heat from any radiator or the hot water.
Occasionally we find that one of the radiators is hot, but the app insights shows that there was no call for heat.
I'm on the point of ripping it out and going back to a conventional system. It's costing us a fortune in gas.

Hi @Baldbloke ,
Thanks for your post and sorry for the late reply.
I hope that you found a solution to use Wiser in your home.
To give you some inputs, concerning the random behaviour : sometimes there might be a discrepancy between the app display and the boiler relay behavior: when the system is finishing a heating cycle, there is no more heat demand, while the boiler output is still on.
For "hot radiators",
there is a frequent reason for a radiator to be hot even if there is no heat demand in the room: the valve piston is a bit stuck and the iTRV cannot close it. We recommend to oil the piston and to exercise it. Maybe the iTRV batteries are becoming weak and need to be replaced. Having a smooth piston contributes to increase the battery life time.
