Looking to upgrade my v1 hub to v2 mainly due to advertised improved Openthem controls and just wondered if anyone has done this. The main thing missing from my v1 hub is that I cannot set an upper flow temp limit on my Baxi boiler. Has anyone had any positive experience moving to v2.
Also I have a combi boiler, my current hub is a 1 channel version, if I was to purchase a v2 hub, is there any issue purchasing a 3 channel hub to future proof potentially adding a second zone to my system in the future? I have a large system and may look to split the zones in the future, but for now with a single combi boiler would there be a problem using a 3 channel hub?
Thanks 🙂

Hi @ASeddon ,
Thanks for your post. Yes, it is possible to select the max flow temp.
It is possible to use a 3-channel HubR 2nd Gen to control your combi boiler. Just pay attention to assign the right room to the right heating channel.
