Saitel DP - Power supply redundancy?

Hi,

 

Currently i am working on a project, I've two Power supplies of type SM_PS40/A5 connected to a backplane of type SM_BPX/9. when powering up the RTU, Only Power supply providing the power to RTU, if its disconnected then the RTU gets off. how to make the Power supplies to be redundant?.

Hello Mohamed.

 

In a redundant configuration, the first Power Supply is connected to the slot 1 in the backplane and the second PS module to the slot 2. So first of all check out that both PS are working fine individually and then insert them like in the picture below.
