Dear Community,
Is there any plan to replace the SEPAM B83 IED within the Powerlogic P5 / P7 range
until now there is no IED that replace the SEPAM B83 !
SEPAM B83 is very helpful when syncing 2 busbar using the ANSI27 protection on each parts of the busbar

There is no 1:1 replacement for SEPAM B83. You can use PowerLogic P7 for this application e.g. Feeder application level 1 supporting 2x 3phase VT proxies or 2x 1ph VT proxies. Sync-check ANSI 25 is also available. However, sufficient number of VT inputs are needed, you can choose between two CT/VT module variants 5CT/4VT or 6CT/3VT - max two modules are possible.

It is available. When using e.g. P7 Feeder 2x 3ph VT and 2x 1ph VT proxies are supported which is meeting B83 requirement which is 2x 3V + 2x V0 acc to SEPAM catalog. You have to make sure that the needed CT/VTs are equipped. Up to two CT/VT moudles can be equipped.

Thank you for your response,
but without 2 voltages inputs on the P7 we can not achieve the 27R function on each busbar.
as you know this function is mandatory to make sure that there in no remanent energy (voltage) coming from motors during the CB's switching.
this could be solved if the P7 can handle 6 VT inputs (3 on each busbar).
Hope our colleague from R&D will manage this in the near future.
