Problems integrating SEPAM and Micrologic 6.2 E series devices into PME2021.

Hello experts,

I am having problems integrating SEPAM and Micrologic 6.2 E series devices into PME2021. I can't find the right device type in the management console.

Will I need to install some specific driver?

Any idea how to solve this problem?

I hope you can help me.

Thank you very much!

Hi @jpussetto_aeris ,

Which protocol are you using? Since it is PME and not PSO I assume it is Modbus.

For SEPAM, if it is Modbus you can select any of the templates of the same series. For example, if you are using an S80 you can use any other 80 templates available and add separately the points you want to read.

For Micrologic you need to check also which switchgear it is connected to, for example, NSX. Then you can do the same as the SEPAM. create the most similar available and edit the point separately.

By doing it you will avoid creating the communication channel manually and will just care about the point address.

In both cases, you will need to check the Modbus Manual to see if the point you need is already included.

Another option is to ask the template for someone who had already done the configuration you want before.

Best Regards

Andre, good morning.

Thank you very much for replying.
The protocol is Modbus.

It is not clear to me what you define as adding separately the reading points.

Does it have to do with generating a virtual meter with Divice type editor ?

Best regards

By adding separately I mean edit the template and adding the missing points if there are any.

I think there are some videos in the Global Training community that shows how to do it.
