PowerLogic T300 - Reading Modbus values from a PM5110

I have a PM5110 from which i can read values through Modbus poll at registers 3110 ( frequency ). I connected the RS485 connectors from PM5110 to HU250 though a RJ45 to 8 pin connector block.

https://www.delock.de/produkt/66471/merkmale.html?f=s

I configured the HU250 to read register at 3109 ( as there is a 1 shift) . Added Frequency in DBcore .

I am able to read freq at 3109 also in Modbus poll tool.

When i open the HU250 web interface and try to see values on the newly defined Frequency , i see only 0.

Can someone help me how to read the Freq value from PM5110 on HU250.??

Thanks

Matt

Hello Matt86,

1. how did you physically connect the PM5110 to HU250 (pin-out please)?

2. please share your RTU configuration file

Hello Matt,

Kindly clarify, whether only frequency parameter alone not getting the values in HU250? Did you able to read other modbus registers of PM5110 in HU250 successfully?

If you are not able to read other parameters, then check modbus communication  parameters. If only particular register not getting the value, then check the data type and the addressing is mapped properly in coredb

Also please do share the traces of modbus communication, that you can get it from diagnostics.

Regards,

Sathish
