FIle transfer Mode P139 BCT Tool

Hi

We made customized bay using Easergy BCT Tool in relay P139-634.  To send this file in relay, relay should be in extended(loading) mode. Then via easergy tool connection has to be established in FILE TRANSFER MODE ONLY. The issue is we are unable to connect with relay in "File transfer Mode Only".

Through Easergy Help , we learned that FILE Transfer Mode is only applicable for Firmware version 650 or higher.

"

Extended Platform Devices

MiCOM Px30 Extended Platform Devices (firmware starting with -650) support two types of protocols for the extraction of data, namely:

  • Standard - This uses the IEC 60870-5-103 protocol
  • Extended - This uses File Transfer Mode only on the COM port of the device. The device is switched into this mode manually at the front panel. It supports all the basic IEC-103 transmission features, but it does exclude some functions.

"

How can we send .bct Customized bay file in relay P139 firmware 634(which is less than 650)?

Support requested.
