First of all I am switching into english for the sake of clarity of the big majority of the users of this platform so I beg you to continue our chat like this.

You are asking for the way to change users/passwords in a CPU Saitel 866 and there are some ways.

1. If you remember the IP address and have connectivity I recommend you to use Easergy Builder like this.

firstly add the IP address(1), read the user configuration(2) and then edit (3) what you want to change or add (4) a new user with its privilege level. Then upload the new configuration

2. if you can´t use an ethernet interface you also can access through serial channel (CON)

data bits:8

stop bits:1

parity:None

flow control: none

Vxworks is basically a flavour of Linux with similar commands so move to the folder /flash/ edit "userLogin.xml" and adapt it to your needs.

3. If you add the user "target" its access level (ALEVEL) should be 250 or higher. Do not add users like "anonymous", "ftp" or "guest" to start up a ftp session.
