PowerChute^TM Network Shutdown is free for Windows and Linux environments and provides a 30-day free trial for virtualized and hyperconverged (HCI) environments. Test your configuration end-to-end in your environment before subscription purchase. Configurations performed during the trial are retained when you activate your PowerChute subscription. 

No purchase is required to avail of the free trial.

What do I need to use PowerChute Network Shutdown?

• A supported Network Management Card (AP9640, AP9641, AP9643, AP9644, AP9544)
  
  
• A supported UPS (Smart-UPS, Smart-UPS On-Line, Smart-UPS Ultra, Easy UPS On-Line, Galaxy VX, VL)

Activate your free trial in 3 steps:

1. Go to www.se.com/pcns and download the SFPCNS commercial reference. Select the correct option for your chosen virtualized environment:
   
   
   
   
2. Install PowerChute Network Shutdown on your virtualized environment, using the downloaded installation file and following the on-screen instructions. See the Installation Guide for more information.
   
   
3. Configure PowerChute Network Shutdown using the Configuration Wizard, accessing the URL https://localhost:6547
   
   

   On the License page, choose the 30-day free trial option and complete the configuration as part of PowerChute deployment.
   
   Note: the 30-day free trial can only be used once in a PowerChute installation.
