Hello @Andrew.Peplinski
It sounds like you're facing some challenges with user rights and access management for your PDUs. While I can certainly help with general advice, it's important to note that specific user rights management and access control settings can vary based on the PDU model and its associated control panel software.
Here are a few general steps you can consider:
Access Control Panel Settings: Log in to the control panel of your PDUs. Look for sections related to user management, access control, or security settings. There might be options to configure user roles, permissions, and access levels.
User Role Configuration: Within the control panel, explore the user management section to see if you can create custom user roles with specific privileges. This might include different levels of access such as user, remote, administrator, etc.
Integration with RADIUS and AD: Check if there are specific settings related to integrating with RADIUS and Active Directory (AD). Some PDUs allow you to map AD user groups to specific roles or permissions within the PDU control panel.
Firmware and Software Updates: Ensure that your PDU's firmware and associated software are up to date. Sometimes, new features or bug fixes related to user management are included in software updates.
Vendor Support: If you've exhausted the options within the documentation and control panel settings, consider reaching out to the PDU vendor's support team. They can provide specific guidance tailored to your PDU model and software version.
As for the community, it's great to seek assistance in forums related to IT infrastructure, network management, or data center operations. These communities often have professionals who have experience with PDUs and access management in similar environments.

Thanks, but what I am trying to find is how to pass the auth settings along to the PDUs. They are APC PDUs, so I was under the impression that this forum would be the right spot for more information, as this IS the vendor website.
No need to try to troubleshoot however, as I am leaving the job where this applies :).
