Here is an example;

We received a customer project (as shown here); with 10 feeders connected to the Main Low Voltage Switchboard - MLSB, Then, further loads are connected to the "sub distribution switchboards".

Project - More than 200 componentsProject - More than 200 components

We have suggested in a following way;

Step 1:  Suggested to create - 10 number small projects to realize the feeders.

  •    The demand of the feeders.
  •    All the other sizing related to these feeders are obtained.

Step 2:  The main project is created - with 10 out goings.

  •    The out come of the 10 number small projects has helped here to define the feeder power demand.
  •     All the other sizing related to the Main Switchboard is also achieved.

Outcome :

End of the above two steps; the final project (which represent the main switchboard) is show as follows...

The main project.The main project.

  • The suggestion was to create the “small networks” to represent the ‘loads connected to the feeder.’

  • The outcome from the “small networks” are as follows;

    • The feeder current (Ib)
    • The feeder power factor (pf), that is the power factor accumulated from the loads connected that “small networks.”

  • The “Main network” should be created.
    • All the feeders can be represented by the ‘load circuits’ as well, where we can provide the ‘Ib’ and ‘pf’
    • This will help us to get more accuracy in sizing the source.

  • The power factor correction and kVAr calculation.

                   Ecodial has considers the “kVAr needed for source + kVAr needed for the loads.”

Hello,

Thanks for your query;

Can you please kindly enclose the project file (.each file) that you are trying to open at the latest INT version.

In general, the file created at the old INT version will be opened at latest INT version without any problem.

We use now Ecodial 4.8 BE.

We have big problems with this version!

If the installation is large, the program will no longer work!

Is there a version Ecodial 4.9 BE?

Hello

This behavior is based on the 'system memory and configuration.'

For the general system configuration; Ecodial application will be able to calculate and generate the report for the 'Electrical Network with 150 to 200 circuit components.

Ecodial BE :

The Ecodial Belgium application is not updated & not available for the latest 4.9 base line version.

Project file :

If you have an issue on a specific file; then kindly share with us.

Ecodial application development team, can help you in resolving the same.

Thanks for your reply!

Is there a solution for electrical networks with more than 200 circuit components?

Many of our networks have more than  400 components!
