I am looking to get a UPS and notice that most of them have outputs for IEC plugs rather than UK standard plug.
Most of my homelab runs off of bricks and UK plugs (Router, PC, mutiple switches and NUCs). How do you get around this for your homelabs?
Should I be buying new power cables with IEC? Do I need the bricks if plugging into a UPS? Do I just buy an IEC to UK plug extension socket? Can extension cords /4gang sockets be safely used with Eaton UPS?
Any help and advice is appreciated as I have little to no knowledge in this specific field.

Hello @edison65, I forward you the message of the expert :
"I would strongly recommend buying new power cables with IECcompare to use IEC to UK plug extension socket for safety reason . Because an adaptor will add some contact resistance on your system.
