Electric Vehicle charging solutions

Hello,

I have seen a jump receiving more and more requests from my customers to propose electric vehicle chargers and rest of the elements. I see a lot of charger manufacturers with good information on the chargers installation and management, but I would like to know if I can get more detailed information to understand better the risks (fire, unexpected tripping), how and what to install for electrical protections and how to propose simple solutions for maintenance or chargers management for the building or fleet owners and drivers. I am based in Spain. Thanks,

Re: Electric Vehicle charging solutions

Dear CharlieKnight,

Thanks for your question and your interest. One thing I can recommend you to get more information on the complete view of the Electric Vehicle / eMobility infrastructure is the chapter on the EV inside the Electrical Installation Guide: https://www.electrical-installation.org/enwiki/Electric_Vehicle_charging

We have had recently a discussion around the Load Management System as a key driver of the integration of EV chargers in the buildings that I can recommend too: https://community.exchange.se.com/t5/Power-Distribution-and-Digital/LMS-Load-Management-System/m-p/2.... Do not hesitate to use the translation capability to translate all the post to your preferred language (English, Spanish...).

Thanks and at your disposal to support with more details if needed.
