Hi,
I received a question from a customer who is using Ecostruxure Power Design 5.3.1 INT:
Any comments? File is attached.
"Hello, why does changing the Number of trays and Touching circuits not change the cable calculation results?
Shouldn't it take into account the coefficients from table B 52-21?"

Hello AnrejsRo,
We have validated the query and confirmed that the cable installation method of 32 F and the IEC standard IEC 60364-5-52 respective table indicate the following:
If we have a maximum of 9 cables, including the touching circuits, the correction factor is 0.78. This correction factor remains the same for up to 20 touching circuits, including the respective cables.
Therefore, the cable calculation maintains the same 0.78 correction factor as per the standard.
Hence, Ecodial is working as expected.
Thanks & Regards,
Team- Ecodial Expert support.
