Simply, it is not only about recycling; it's so much more.

The circular economy is a model that avoids "linear economy" - an economical model which is based on raw material extraction.

The circular economy is based on 3 pillars:
1. Use less
2. Keep products in use
3. Regenerate materials - this step is presented at each stage during the product lifecycle.

Finally, a circular economy starts from the design phase given its major impact along the full lifecycle of a product. In fact, 80% of the impact are determined at design phase.

Each time you take an action to avoid extracting new materials and resources to create a product, you are “doing” the circular economy.
