Cannot "discover" IFM ULP module; IFM LED showing Conflict.

Hi all,

Have a recurring issue where using an IFM ULP connected via Modbus to a Moxa gateway and trying to discover items using EPC, I cannot seem to be able to view the IFM at all. The IFM LED initially shows 1 second flashes indicating OK status, but then starts to flash at 0,5 second intervals, indicating Conflict (remove additional ULP devices) but there is only one ACB connected. To add insult to injury, every now and then, the device does eventually show up, but this is so infrequent as to be unuseable.

If I cannot connect to the IFM, I cannot upgrade firmware, etc.

Any guidance would be very welcome.

BR,

Brian

Bonjour,

la première chose est de vérifier que vous avez un bon 24V.

Une tension trop basse ou trop élevée peut perturber le fonctionnement.

Thank you Olivier.

It is definitely something worth monitoring as when we were trying repeatedly over and over again to connect without success, we came back to recheck the EPC device search again later and it worked immediately. Nothing had been changed. It is typical of what we have been seeing a lot of but your suggestion of monitoring the 24V supply is most definitely one worth checking.

Merci beaucoup,

Brian
