Modicon M580 CPU (BMEP581020) Fail to Connect

Hi,

I would like to check with someone had been encountered this for the Modicon M580 CPU of BMEP581020

and how to resolve this issue?

1. Please check if the current CPU's IP address is 192.168.10.2.
2. Make sure your laptop's IP address is in the 192.168.10.X range.
3. Open the Command Prompt in Windows and verify that the ping test between the laptop and the CPU works without issues.
4. Check if the connection works when using a USB connection instead.

Additional to Yongho-Kim suggestions:

• What version of Control Expert are you using and has the PLC been programmed with any other PC with newer version of ECE that has Engineer Link mode?
• What firmware version is on the PLC?
