Distributed IO with BMXPRA0100 + M580

Since the PRA module have its own program, can it continue to run and execute its program locally even if the M580 fails ? 

For example in an architecture where i have several pumps, in each pump I have a DIO with PRA module, and the M580 works as a general coordinator, so even if the coordinator fails, the DIO keeps running.

Yes, I have used the PRA module in a few applications where you do not have a large program, serial, or USB port with and without an M340 or M580.

I have a few small projects where only the PRA and IO is used.
