Control Expert : Add autocompletion

Add autocompletion to Control Expert, as found in many IDEs (like Machine Expert).

Yes, the autocompletion has much to wish for in ESCE 😞

It seems to remember old typed values but it can't find any previously not used. It would also be nice if you started typing a variable and it doesn't find anything and you then click the ... button and the text you typed could be pre-entered in the search field surrounded by wildcard characters like *varia*. Right now it is pre-entered in the top left box of this new selection window and I have no idea what this box is good for here, it seems to work exactly like the first box that is displayed when double clicking a variable so don't know why one would want that again here...

Or even better, also show the dropdown (that already is there but not expanded without a click on it) while typing and then present variables that first match the exact text from left to right that was typed and if no variables is found it can show variables containing the character sequence anywhere in the name like if it was surrounded by wildcard characters.

I always found it strange that such a mature software doesn't have a much more evolved variable selection tool. I don't think anything has changed with it since I started using it while it was called Unity Pro 6...

To overcome having to deal with this I usually end up with having the full variable list side by side with the code and just dragging and dropping from that which works quite well if the screen is big enough for it.

Yes, Autocomplemention could be a great improvement in the ESCE Editor,s and is a Must to have in Software today.

mm, adding a little comment to my own post...

"It would also be nice if you started typing a variable and it doesn't find anything and you then click the ... button and the text you typed could be pre-entered in the search field surrounded by wildcard characters like *varia*"

This actually seems to be something that the program tries to do but it fails, it actually displays matching variables for like 100ms and then revert to showing all variables instead...
