Import a device list to discover devices in IT Expert

Administrators and Operator users with permissions for All locations can import a device list from Data Center Expert or another source to easily discover devices in IT Expert on up to three EcoStruxure IT Gateways.

An IT Expert subscription is not required.

Modbus device discovery is not supported in EcoStruxure IT.

File format IP addresses to discover must be in a single column. The columns do not need to be in any specific order. Any extra columns are ignored. The first row can optionally be a header row describing the contents of each column. A header row is not required. The file extension must be .csv, .tsv, .txt The column delimiter must one of the following: colon, comma, tab, pipe, semi-colon, space. The character encoding on the file must be UTF-8.
