The second Ethernet port acts as a switch to the first one. They share the same IP address, so you can only have the two physical ports enabled or disabled at the same time. Please see "Ethernet communications" on page 50 in the user manual PowerLogic PM8000 series user manual -EN | Schneider Electric.

I want disable function switch in ethernet port of PM8000, and I found in page FAQs Schneider Electric with link description: Video: Disabling BPDU (Bridge Protocol Data Unit) Packets on a PM8000/ION7400 Meter
is this way disable function switch in PM8000?

In the KB itself "NOTE: This does not impede the switch functionality of the PM8000s ethernet ports."
