PacDrive WebVisu error: Your connection isn't private

Sometimes you might encounter the following error message when connecting to a Webvisu of a PacDrive controller programmed with Machine Expert 2.2.2.
The message is: "Your connection isn't private."
To connect, you need to type "thisisunsafe" directly on the error page displayed by the browser.

Below is a summary table of the URLs users attempt to use to access the PacDrive Webvisu, along with the resulting effects.
The tests were carried out using the option CommunicationMode = REDIRECT_HTTP_TO_HTTPS.

#

URL

Effect

1

http://192.168.178.202/webvisu.htm

No response, because the standard port 443 for https does not allow unencrypted connections.

2

https://192.168.178.202/webvisu.htm

Browser reports a security issue with the certificate
net::ERR_CERT_INVALID
It is possible to continue only accepting the risk or typing "thisisunsafe" directly on the browser page

3

http://192.168.178.202:8080/webvisu.htm

This URL will be redirected automatically to the URL of case 2.

4

https://192.168.178.202:8080/webvisu.htm

No response, because port 8080 is not designated for encrypted communication.

5

http://192.168.178.202:8089/webvisu.htm
https://192.168.178.202:8089/webvisu.htm

The port 8089 is not valid. It is valid only for the M262 controller, because the standard port 80 and 443 are dedicated to the Webserver
