The update bios through command line it is already tracked as improvement, but it is not planned yet. At the moment R&D resources are dedicated to complete M173O project.
About sharing the libraries, unfortunately moving from box to sharepoint does not allow me to create a common repository with the same characteristics. I hope to be able to find an alternative solution soon...

@FedericoM what would it take to make flashing firmware over cli available?
@otrotabi I've had the same trouble. As far as I am aware, there is not a common location available with all their resources. There used to be 'Toolbox SE M172x' on Box but that isn't being used any more. There are a bunch of external libraries only given out on request, that are not part of the standard install.
I received 'HowToESME_DownloadOnLineCommand' (i.e cli downloading application) from tech support (industry.supportpz@schneider-electric.com) as I asked if there were any solutions to do it. It should be in the standard documentation.

Hi,
In my opinion the fastes and easiest way to update the FW is via USB pen drive.
Put the Firmware file in the root folder of the USB pen drive, check the format (FAT32), and plug the stick in the USB port of the TM172 controller. Power on the controller. Then the controller will see the Firmware file and start automatically the update. This procedure is ~10 times faster then via ESME HVAC.

@Bastian_Schmitz I am familiar with the USB method. We have safety and functional testing for completed HVAC machines that prevents access while the machines are live. The USB method would require them to halt the operation of the test cage, unlock it, insert USB, restart the process, then vice versa when the loading is finished. We have already automated application flashing and running the safety and functional test and would like something for the firmware.

Thanks @FedericoM, looking forward to it.
If all the resources (including literature on application download with CLI) could be built into the EcoStruxure and the help menu, that would be better, but I'll settle for having them online.
