Hi, again 🙂
Now I need advice/help on how to connect with modbus device and read registers.
I use TM251MESE controller and I connect to them using a serial port energy meter.
In Machine Expert I add the energy meter in that way:
Next I add channel and one address to read
After starting the controller the status looks like:
1- green
2- green
3- orange
Green led on serial port was flashing.
In attachment, I add modbus table of energy meter
I check the pins on serial port and the cable connection and they look correct.
Where can be a problem?

Please check if the energy meter offer values on Register address 0. Because at the moment you read this address via the offset value. Depending on the slave device you will get as response illegal address. Furthermore you could check the frame setting on the device and in your project and the device address. If you change settings on the energymeter, please try to power off/on the meter. The most devices need a reboot to accept new communicaiton settings.

Hello Pawel,
Apart from the correct wiring between the M251 serial line and the meter you need to verify the following parameters which should match their equivalents in the meter.

Hi,
I know about those parameters and I checked them.
Finally after changing the time between frames and cycle time in Modbus Slave Channel does works properly.
