Http Post not working with M241 & Machine Expert

I have been trying to get http post to work but just keep getting the error from the block 'Current state does not allow executing Post' in machine expert.

The http post works fine via the browser and also in a vbscript using ("Microsoft.XMLHTTP") no problems.

Have tried all sorts of combination for inputs.

The http library doco does not expand on this error.

Any ideas ?

Resolved this issue, the http library documentation with machine expert is pretty poor but involves a lot more processes to be involved before sending the http post.

Please refer to our online help for the HTTP Handling library. There you will find detailed information about the state machine and the various functions FB_HttpClient - State machine.

There is also a separate code example that demonstrates how to execute the GET method. Of course, this can also be easily adapted for the POST method. FB_HttpClient - Example code.
