I have setup a Altivar 12 drive to run a 1HP motor with a 0-10 volt input and a 2 wire control forward and reverse. the drive works great in remote operation however when trying to run it in local control I cannot seem to get it to run. I have gone over the configuration and I must be missing something but cannot figure out what. I have attached a PDF of my configuration showing how my drive is configured. Looking for solutions.
Thanks

How are you turning on in local mode. Is it with push buttons on the panel or with run stop buttons of the vfd. Provide the details of the wiring too.

If you use SoMove, it is great to have your configuration. you can download the software as a freeware, then download the ATV12 DTM, available in SE.com.
For your application, I advise you to set FRH as AI virtual (AIUI), the jog dial is then considered as the reference...

How this is setup. I have a AB robot controller which is commanding the drive to operate forward or reverse (2 wire) using a 0-10 volt analog input controlling the speed and this works great. We are using the rem/local button on the drive putting it in local mode, when needed, and using the start and stop buttons to operate the drive, however the drive will not run in local mode. I can adjust the speed reference using the dial, but I have no local mode operation. I do have the Somove program and I have posted my parameters in the attached pdf file of this thread.

Could you try to set CD1 to LOC, instead of "terminals" ?

Keep your settings as it is. When ever you want to run the vfd in local mode press n hold mode button for 3 to 5 sec. Mode will be changed to loc and 3 led in display will be blinking. You can operate in local mode by using buttons. When ever you feel like switching again hold the mode button till the 3 blinking LEDs turns off. It will switch in rem mode. Hope this would help.
