Cause
Microsoft .NET framework is a core technology used by Vista software. ASP.NET is used by Vista Webapps for web presentation through Internet Information Services.
With the many versions of .NET framework available from Microsoft it can be unclear which to install or ensure is available for Vista software.
A new release of .NET framework is not necessarily supported by TAC Vista software until design changes have occurred in subsequent releases.
