Cause
Special characters are not permitted in the names of Menta signals.
Resolution
Remove all of the following characters from the Menta signal name:
- space
- . period, ? question mark
- - dash (hyphen)
- !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, )
- \ backslash denotes the Menta module name separated from the Menta signal name. One is permitted, the second will cause a syntax error
The best rule to go by is to use nothing but alphanumeric characters and (_) underscores in Menta naming conventions.
