Hello everyone!
I'm having an issue with a Kamstrup for glycol: it doesn't read energy, volume and flow.
The % of the glycol given to Kamstrup before buying it was 55. On site the % has never been lower than 56/57 and in the first months it was around 60%: can the difference between the concentration set on the water meter and the actual one leading to this reading error?
Thank you in advance.
KR,
LD

Lets see if I got this correct:
As long as it was about 60%, the energy calculation did work, but now, when it got down to like 56%, the reading do no longer work, and you get no flow indication?

The metering portion of the system uses sound waves bounced from the inside walls of the pipe. If the sound cannot make it through the fluid then it cannot read flow. Flow and temperatures are needed for energy reading. There could be an issue with obstruction of the sound due to the concentration of glycol. The speed at which the sound travels in a fluid also changes with the fluid composition. It could affect accuracy but not significantly, repeatability usually is more significant and eliminates any accuracy issues. Troubleshooting with help of the Schneider Customer Care Center is the first step and there is also the option of contacting Kamstrup at the e-mail on their website.

@Troy_Wecker Thank you Troy.
I'm trying to solve this with both SE support and Kamstrup since I cannot go on-site.
