Good morning all,
my customer has the following request: when I have the start from an external thermostat the ventilation can be ON, otherwise it should be OFF (no low speed, completely off).
Is there a Modbus register that I can use to shut off the fan completely?
The only thing that came to my mind is to create an MTA that automatically matches the set point with the temperature read by the TC until the thermostat close the contact and set the register 16 "Fan operation after setting temperature is reached" to 0.
Any other solutions?
Thanks in advance,
LD

Hello,
I also think you have found the best and only option to ensure to turn the Fan Off (all speed) from a ModBus command.
- Setpoint = Room Temp
- Fan operation after setting temperature is reached = 0 (this may be left set to 0 depending on application)
- May also have to force Fan Mode = Auto (Register 5 = 03) ...conditional to Auto Fan = Enable.

I'm not sure I 100% understand what is required but your idea does sound feasible.
