What is your opinion on Schneider PLC’s?
Hello, I use to work with Siemens and Rockwell PLC’s. In our company we just switched our System Integrators and they entirely work with Schneider PLC (M580 model).
What is your opinion or experience with them? From programming, maintenance, support, hardware quality, technical specs (SIL1,2,3), etc
Downsides I see:
We will have a lot of projects in several parts of the work, I am thinking that maybe the spare parts will be a problem?
in the future, What if we switch again System Integrator, then we need to find a Schneider PLC programming company for troubleshooting what we will have installed. I think is more easy to find a Siemens/Rockwell guy.
