I have a Twido TWDLCDE40DRF with the Battery Light on. I really struggled to find any proper manual for this type of Twido, so any help on this would already be appreaciated.
What I found googling is that there is an internal RAM battery which can not be replaced and I suppose this one reached its life expectancy. But this type of Twido you can actually add an external battery via the battery compartment, would this get the unit up and running again if the internal battery is dead?
Thanks and Regards

Hi Julian,
I don't know of a way to check the status of the internal battery. The system bits only reference the external one.
The external battery is a 1/2AA lithium battery, nonrechargeable. With power off full time, it appears to have about a 30 day data backup capability.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks very much for the manual, this is really helpful!
So if the Batt. Led is only for the external Battery as I understand the manual, is there any way to figure out if the internal battery is still good?
Also, is the external battery TSXPLP01 rechearchable like the internal RAM Battery or is it just a backup to the internal one?
Thanks and Regards
