I am programming a SR3 B101BD module and SR3XT61B extension. I have selected both from the configuration menu and selected FBD. When on the programming page the extra I/O appear and can configure them as inputs and outputs as normal, logic seems fine and all runs OK in simulation mode.
However when trying to down load from laptop to module I get a dialogue box " Type of extension XT2 connected to module is not compatible with the extension used in this program".
I have checked two or three times that the listed items are correct, however noticed that in the module selection below
1 non contiguous extension
1 Not selected
Extensions
1 not selected
2 SR3XT61BD
But cannot seem to be able to change the SR3XT61BD to level 1 as assume its where it should be
Would be grateful for any advice please

I would say verify your part numbers. From what i can see the SR3XT61BD is a 24 VDC model where the SR3XT61B is 24 VAC.
XT1 is used for communications cards, XT2 is for relay or analog extensions. Seems like XT3 is reserved for the modem attachment.
