Do we have a replacement for the discontinued fast acting fuses?
If no replacement, does it mean that we don't need the fuses for type 2 co-ordination?

The type 2 coordination means it is not necessary to replace any internal component of internal Soft Starter in case of huge damage on motor side (meaning short circuit). In such a case of Short circuit, it is tolerated to check the line contactor (could be light welded but shall be open using a screwdriver) and the fast fuse will protect the internal power components of the Soft Starter (Thyristors).
You can see a table giving fast acting fuses necessary on ATS48 for type 2 coordination.
