PID efficiency and Feedback
PID efficiency and feedback
When using a well-tuned PID, it is sometimes interesting to know its performance (energy saving, waste reduction) compared to the disturbance rejection and other controllers that could be obtained by simply replacing a PID, IMC, PFC, MPC by the #relaxc controller.
The free site http://relaxc.appedge.com allows to calculate a well balanced PID with its performance index and at the same time the Relaxc ( #relaxctuner) setting with its performance index.
This site is also for the 220 people who downloaded the trial version of #relaxc to evaluate it.
