Hi everyone,
I have a question about the Web Server in Operator Terminal Expert. I couldn't find any documentation explaining how it works.
What is its purpose? And how can I access it? When I try to enter http://IP_HMI
, nothing happens.
Can anyone help me?
Thank's.

The Webserver is not related to the webviewer. For the webserver you did not need an additional license. It is only important that you use the professional license of EOTE. The Webserver is for the use of WebSocket and API. You find a explanation in the online help. LINK

Looks like you need to enter HTTP://IP_HMI:8082 or try with HTTPS instead

Hi @rfond ,
Just in case, in order to use the WebViewer to see the hmi application in a browser you must have a license on the hmi to enable that feature.
You can also simulate the hmi and access the that webviewer to test behaviour, take a look to the next video:
Best regards,

Yes, I know what the WebViewer is, no problem with that—I use it daily.
However, there is a "Web Server" checkbox that I can enable, but I don't know what it is used for. For example, to make the WebViewer work, the "Web Server" checkbox does not need to be enabled. So, there doesn't seem to be a connection between them.
Thanks!
