Hi everybody,
I would like to do the same as in Vijeo Designer with "placeholders." I want to create graphical objects where I can replace local variables with PLC variables.
Is it possible to do this without using a script?
Or do I have to follow this example:
https://www.se.com/be/fr/faqs/FAQ000258783/
Thanks!

This is actually why I haven't switched from Vijeo Designer to OTE. When I tried OTE version 2 something, it had zero support for dynamic variables, and based on the FAQ you linked it doesn't look like the situation is much improved now.
Sorry I can't be helpful.

Hi @rfond ,
The placeholder feature is not available on Operator Terminal Expert....yet.
It may be available in EOTEv4
The advice on that FAQ is a workaround for not having the placeholders it will help you to reduce time for sure, if you have already a different structure in plc (if i am not wrong) you can "bind" the variables to the new array.
Best regards,
