M171 can't write value as Modbus Master

I am connecting my M171PBM27R (Act as Master) and my PC act as Slave to transfer value.

However, after I created function 06 and assigned "test1" into it, I still cannot change the value in Watch View.

(For example, I want to change 4 to 5 into Watchview and I can observe the change in Modbus Slave

The value will be auto change back. How can I change the value in Machine Expert?

Problem solved😁

@summersiu

I am not familiar with the Machine Expert product, but I found

https://community.se.com/t5/b-ecostruxure-geo-scada-expert-forum/EcoStruxure%2525E2%252584%2525A2+Ma...

Home/Communities/SCADA & Telemetry Solutions/Geo SCADA Expert Forum/EcoStruxure(TM) Machine Expert - HVAC

I have often used Modbus Slave, ModPoll, ModScan etc and all work with EBO.

You could test Machine Expert using EBO (the AS is easily configured to work with Modbus RTU/RS485), but ModSlave should also work fine and may be better for simple testing.

Hi @summersiu

Your question does not seem to involve EBO (this forum), It seems to be Machine Expert (M171?) to Modbus Slave

Is there a forum for the product you are using?
